This completely 1/1 tulip hat features 6 mostly green panels all hand stitched together with green string. The color-way is a monochrome green with hints of orange, blue, yellow, and purple! There is one fiery stripe for contrast.
The hat was created by weaving merino wool, viscose, and cotton together using a rigid heddle loom. Once the fabric was created, it was wet felted and dried. Once dry, it was cut and hand stitched all by the artist, Rebecca Hesselink.
This particular tulip hat is a bit smaller in length than my previous ones and fits more “fitted” than oversized
Care
Spot clean with cold water as needed.
Iron using wool settings as needed.
Size and Fit
Size is 22” around but due to the nature of the shape, it fits well on most heads. The fit is not oversized and fits snugly around the base of the hat and should land just above the eyes.
